DASH FOR THE CASH
The idea behind this contest was simple. The fourth quarter of the fiscal year tends to be a monetary challenge for many dental practices. The question we asked ourselves was, “What could we do for our clients to help them collect money and have some fun too. What area could we really focus on and help them?”

What could we do to get everyone energized and excited about collecting money, we decided to interject a little competition to see who could increase their collection percentage the most.
The response was more than we imagined. The contest was based on who could increase their collection percentage the most from September to December. A base collection percentage was established for each participating practice. This base collection percentage was compared to their actual percentage each month, the practice with the largest increase in their collection percentage won.
Awards were given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The 22 contestants were highly competitive and everyone wanted to win. No one wanted to come in 2nd. At the end of every month, we updated the contestants’ scores on our website. Each practice was assigned a secret number to protect their identity. The phones were red hot with people calling us wanting to know how they could win.
