Dr. Verna Cornelia Price, Ph.D.
Dr. Verna Cornelia Price is an entrepreneur, organizational consultant, educator, executive coach, and an internationally known motivational speaker. Dr. Verna specializes in custom designing multiple intelligence approaches that engage clients in a structured process for rethinking leadership and the role of personal power in the workplace. Her expertise includes the Power of People Professional Development Process™ which combines organizational consulting, executive coaching, and customized seminars with motivation as a core strategy, for organizations seeking to increase employee effectiveness, morale, and productivity.
Dr. Verna is the author of a bestseller,The Power of People: Four Kinds of People Who Can Change Your Life, and The Silent Cry: Dealing with Subtracters in Work and Life. In 2010, Dr. Price was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the the Black MBA Organization and Pioneer of the Year by Women Venture.
Dr. Verna received her Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota. She is currently a Leadership Institute Faculty Member at The College of St. Catherine and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
